Paragon Gardens is a proud family business, established by Lachlan and Sacha Moncrieff in 1997. Our farm is in Kelso, Townsville in sunny north Queensland. Fundamentally, we believe in getting outside, family BBQs, discovering nature, lifelong learning and the incredible value of green space.

Lachlan Moncrieff.

Lachlan is a turf farmer with extensive experience in landscaping, irrigation, structural landscaping, turf farming and small business.

Lachlan holds a QBCC Licence for Irrigation and Structural Landscaping. Licence number 1205063.
In addition to his 20+ years practical experience, Lachlan has completed a range of professional development and formal qualifications including:

• Diploma of Horticulture - 2016.
• Diploma of Management - 2012.    
• Certificate III of Horticultural Practices - 1998.
• Turf Australia Conference - 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017.
• Turf Australia State Forum - 2016.

Lachlan was accepted into the prestigious Masterclass in Horticultural Business at the University of Tasmania on a full scholarship from Horticulture Innovation Australia and completed his studies in 2017.
